Emily Dickinson, ‘Ah, Moon – and Star!’
Ah, Moon—and Star!
You are very far—
But were no one
Farther than you—
Do you think I’d stop
For a Firmament—
Or a Cubit—or so …
No one can deny the dominant beauty of the evening skies because of the stars and the moon at night. Emily’s poem expressed the awe that she feels watching the distant lights. Not only her but all the other famous poets showed their admiration for such. Watching the stars at night is truly incomparable. But to some, the stars are more than just an aesthetic. They are a map. A good example is HOROSCOPE.
I am pretty sure that you are familiar with the word “Horoscope.”
Horoscope is very controversial and well-known to everyone because many people both believed and criticized it.
A horoscope is an astrological chart or diagram representing the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, astrological aspects and sensitive angles at the time of an event, such as the moment of a person's birth. The word horoscope is derived from the Greek words ōra and scopos meaning "time" and "observer.” It is used as a method of divination regarding events relating to the point in time it represents, and it forms the basis of the horoscopic traditions of astrology.
ALIZA KELLY FARAGHER mentioned that “The study of astrology is expansive, complex, and transformative. Despite the nuances, the most fundamental principle of astrology centers on the 12 familiar signs of the zodiac. Over the centuries, each sign has developed its own associations — including myths, animals, and colors— and its own characteristics. Every sign boasts an individual approach to life, complete with dynamic strengths and frustrating weaknesses.”
These are the 12 Zodiac signs that dominate this belief with the up-to-date version:
